We are Pears is currently seeking an experienced IT Specialist & Solution Architect for an exciting assignment within Region Västernorrland’s Healthcare Support and eHealth organization.
This is an opportunity to contribute to some of the region’s most critical healthcare systems, supporting operations that directly impact patient care, healthcare professionals, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
As a consultant through We are Pears, you will work closely with business stakeholders, system suppliers, operational teams, and technical specialists to ensure stable, secure, and future-proof healthcare IT solutions.
About the Assignment
The assignment focuses on Healthcare Support and eHealth solutions, including systems supporting:
• Surgery and Perioperative Care
• Intensive Care
• Pregnancy and Maternity Care
• Delivery and Obstetrics
• The primary Electronic Health Record platform Cosmic
In addition to acting as an IT Specialist and Solution Architect, you will take delegated responsibility from the IT Object Manager to coordinate upgrades, oversee service deliveries, and contribute to architectural decision-making across multiple initiatives.
You will also participate in several ongoing projects and collaborate with stakeholders on strategic technology and integration matters.
Your Responsibilities
• Act as IT Specialist and Solution Architect within the Healthcare Support and eHealth management domain
• Support and develop IT solutions connected to clinical systems and healthcare applications
• Plan, coordinate, and lead upgrades of critical IT components
• Ensure stable and secure operation of systems supporting healthcare delivery
• Follow up and manage service deliveries from operational providers and system vendors
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders across multiple initiatives
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategies
• Support governance, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of healthcare IT platforms
• Facilitate collaboration between business operations, healthcare professionals, vendors, and technical teams
We Believe You Have
• Extensive experience as an IT Specialist, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and system integrations
• Experience working with healthcare systems or other business-critical environments
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management, upgrades, and service management
• Experience working with suppliers, outsourced operations, and service delivery follow-up
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to balance operational stability with strategic development initiatives
• Experience from healthcare, public sector, or highly regulated environments is highly valued
Location
Sundsvall, Sweden
The assignment is primarily based in Sundsvall and may require collaboration with both regional stakeholders and external suppliers.
